Semaglutide

PYT Injections is now offering Semaglutide Injections!

Semaglutide is an FDA approved, subcutaneous injectable medication that is used to assist in weight loss management.

It works by regulating insulin levels in the body, resulting in decreased blood sugar and decreased appetite.

Am I a candidate?

Those who have a history of Thyroid disorders do not qualify. 

You must have a BMI >30 to qualify for Semaglutide treatment. BMI can be calculated by height and weight or by using the "pinch test" method. This must be done before your initial consult. For questions on BMI or if you quality feel free to send me an email at pytinjections@gmail.com.

How often do I need to receive the injections?

Doses are titrated weekly based off of results and tolerability.

What are some common side effects?

As the body becomes used to the medication, it is not uncommon to experience some mild side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue or constipation.
